- In May a neuroscientist from GSU will be visiting our school to teach a lesson on how the brain works as part of a Brain Awareness Month project. Part of the lesson will be telling our students what we know about ADHD and the brain. The highlight will surely be when our students see an actual human brain!
- In May our students will also be touring the Andrew T. Crawford Ironworks studio to meet the regionally acclaimed sculptor as part of our People of Georgia month. If you’ve seen the stunning gate at the entrance to the Atlanta Botanical Garden you’ve viewed his work. See more about Andrew at www.ironisking.com.
- We are still accepting applications for the 2008/2009 School year. If our current enrollment trend continues we may beat statistical averages and have a high percentage of girls in our school this fall!
